A masterclass drawing workshop for all abilities. Absolute beginners at drawing will feel confident and relaxed in this carefully-guided session in both observing and tonal drawing (seeing an object as shapes of light and dark) Use artists’ graphite and eraser to draw two of the museum’s exquisite marble busts, Venus (and friend) This traditional practice of drawing from a marble bust or statue is one of the best ways to improve your skills, used by the original Macclesfield School of Art to train art and design students.
