Wear Your Waste

A natural dye workshop with Kirsteen McGregor

  • Starts 15 Jun
  • 30 British pounds
  • Silk Museum

Service Description

Throughout history our ancestors have used plant dyes to colour their textiles. Most of these plants would also have been traditionally used for both medicinal and food purposes. Perhaps this is how it was discovered that many yielded a range of colour too. In this workshop, find out how you can use your kitchen waste to create natural dyes in order to revive and upcycle items of clothing.
