Beatific: feeling or expressing blissful happiness. This workshop celebrates the beatific bee and it's connection to the harmony of the universe through collage and image transfer printmaking. Your tutor Anna says: "We will delve into my collection of family ephemera dating back to the early 1900's. Explore and discover old letters, stamps, newspapers, telegrams, and old photos. My practice involves a layering process to build the collage and add unusual details. We will work together using this concept to create unique art work using old book pages, music sheet, the ephemera collection, hand carved rubber stampers, and patterned stencils. In this workshop I will demonstrate the image transfer process using laser printed images and image transfer medium. The images we transfer will then be used in the layered collage adding extra detail to your work."
