Service Description

Slow down in an immersive workshop with Visual Artist Aimee Spilsted. This mindful experience will focus on simple hand stitching and mending techniques, layering, and placing with calm intent to create your own piece of textile art. Includes exclusive access to Aimee's collection of salvaged and vintage cotton, silk, and specialist fibres; and also, a visit to Unravelling in Paradise, Spilsted's current exhibition in Paradise Mill. All materials and use of tools included. Limited spaces available. All abilities welcome. (Should you wish to bring along fabrics of personal meaning, that you would like to deconstruct and use in your work, please do.)'
